it started with an idea
In 1986, Richard Dokken decided to transform the way transportation projects were designed in communities throughout California. With humble beginnings as a bridge design firm, Dokken Engineering has since transformed into a top civil engineering design firm also providing environmental, right of way, surveying, public outreach, funding assistance, and construction support services.
We've grown over time, but still have the same family values we've been proud of for more than 35 years.
