Here at Dokken Engineering, we've had the privilege to work on projects that are shaping transportation and communities throughout California. We are proud of the work our team has accomplished, including the many award-winning projects we have delivered over the years.
Dokken is one of the first two businesses in the City of Folsom to be recognized by the League of American Bicyclists as a Bicycle Friendly Business (Silver). We were also named as a Top 500 Design Firm by Engineering News-Record Magazine in 2013-2015, 2018 and 2019, and one of the Sacramento Business Journal's 50 Fastest Growing Companies in Sacramento in 2018, 2019, and 2021.
Dokken was named 2021 Business of the Year by Folsom Chamber of Commerce for our work on the Zittle Family Amphitheater in historic Folsom. To learn more about this important project, click here.

Dokken is proud to have provided structural engineering and renderings for the new shade structure currently under construction at the Zittle Family Amphitheater in Historic Folsom.
The amphitheater is used throughout the year by many non-profit groups hosting plays, concerts, movie nights, and other community events. The new shade structure will provide year-round relief and comfort to attendees and presenters who visit the entertainment and community hub.
The structure layout was modeled to provide optimal shade coverage throughout the year and particularly in the summer months. It features retractable motorized shade cloth supported by wire cables.
