Dokken Engineering completed preliminary engineering, PS&E, and environmental review and permitting for the Via Princessa Bridge over State Route 126, the south fork of the Santa Clara River, and Southern Pacific Railroad/Metrolink tracks. The bridge structure is 840 feet long, 76 feet wide and is a cast-in-place pre-stressed concrete box girder with six spans. Special erosion control plans were included to protect open excavations from summer flows. |
Dokken Engineering also provided full Construction Management services and was responsible for Quality Assurance, record keeping, estimates, and materials testing. Coordination was with PUC, Metrolink, Caltrans, and LA County Flood Control. |
